At the end of a cryopreservation protocol, the VIA Freeze will hold the final temperature until the user has confirmed the samples have been removed. The VIA Freeze will then enter a heating run where it warms to 40°C in order to remove any condensation.
This warming process take around 40 minutes from -100°C. This can be accelerated with the use of a warming block, taking only 25 minutes. The warming cycle can be stopped early through the "System Manager" > "Service Screen" icons from the VIA Freeze homescreen.
